| Jones reminds me a lot of Donovan McNabb. He has a thick body and can move, but he'd rather run through you than around you. His greatest asset is his arm strength. He can make a lot of throws that most high school players just don't make. He throws well on the run or in the pocket. | As a senior, Jones missed part of the season due to an ankle injury and still completed 112 of 215 passes for 1,687 yards and 16 touchdowns. For his career, Jones completed 358 of 617 passes for 5,667 yards and 60 touchdowns. He was named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Fabulous 22.
As a junior, Jones threw for 1,973 yards, 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He completed 62-percent of his passes. Jones gained 294 yards and scored five touchdowns on 72 carries.
As a sophomore, Jones threw for 1,886 yards, 24 touchdowns and three interceptions.
Sto-Rox Head Coach Jason Ruscitto:"The first thing that stands out is his arm," Ruscitto said. "People think he is just a pocket passer, but he does have the athleticism to buy time and do a lot of different things."
