Jordan to decide after season

Rysheed Jordan

Rysheed Jordan has three schools on his list and will likely decide following his senior season.

All is quiet on the Rysheed Jordan front.

Jordan, one of the best available guard prospects in the 2013 class, is down to St. John's, Temple and UCLA, according to Philly Pride coach Kamal Yard.

"Everything is really the same," Yard said about Jordan's recruitment. "Nothing has really changed. It's really the same."

"The kid is just really focusing on the high school season and doing the best he can for the high school team and also academically in the classroom," Yard added. "After the season gets over he's going to make his decision."

Jordan's most recent visit was to UCLA the first weekend of December.

"It was good," Yard said. "It's UCLA. It's beautiful out there and obviously they have a lot of talent. When we went out there they were in the midst of a losing streak. They have a lot of talent though and Ben Howland is doing a good job with them."

One decision Jordan, a 6-foot-4 guard out of Philadelphia (Pa.) Vaux Roberts, has to make is whether he's interested in leaving the East Coast.

"It's up in the air," Yard said. "I think for him he's just trying to really figure that out. On a Tuesday he sees himself going away and then by Wednesday he wants to stay. Everyday it changes."

Jordan, Scout.com's No. 51 overall prospect, will make his college choice following the season and according to Yard, Jordan's list won't change.

"That's it," Yard said about Jordan's list. "There won't be any new schools. It's down to those three schools. He will be making a decision out of those three."

Jordan has also taken visits to his other two finalists -- St. John's and Temple.
