Rank (prev)

Team

1 (1)
Manatee logo
Manatee (2-0) Bradenton, FL

Manatee dispatched Riverview, but this week's game against No. 24 Miami Central will be much tougher. Central is 1-1 against Top 10 teams this year and found its stride last week against Booker T. Washington.

Last: Def Riverview 49-8
Next
: 9/14 vs No. 24 Miami Central
2 (2)
Grayson Logo
Grayson (2-0) Loganville, GA

Grayson was off this week and will play Parkview this week. The Panthers were the IT team of the early '00s, but Parkview is a shade of its former self.

Last: Idle
Next
: 9/14 @ Parkview (1-1)
3 (3)
Dallas Skyline Logo
Skyline (2-0) Dallas, TX

Skyline survived a battle with Arlington Martin, and they will be tested this week by a good Bowie team.

Last: Def Arlington Martin 37-34
Next
: 9/14 @ Bowie (1-1)
4 (4)
Louisville Trinity Logo
Trinity (3-0) Louisville, KY

Some of the luster of this week's match up was lost with St. Xavier's loss to Colerain, but Trinity knows better than to take St. Xavier lightly... especially coming off a loss.

Last: Def Elder 45-21
Next
: 9/14 St. Xavier (OH) (2-1)
5 (5)
Santa Margarita Logo
Santa Margarita (3-0) Rancho Santa Margarita, CA

The Eagles steam rolled its latest victim, and Carson shouldn't prove much of a challenge as Santa Margarita gears up for the meat of its schedule.

Last: Def Trabuco Hills 55-0
Next
: 9/14 Carson (0-3)
6 (21)
John Curtis Christian Logo
John Curtis (2-0) River Ridge, LA

John Curtis had the most impressive showing of the weekend with a 33-3 thrashing of No. 13 Plant. Frankly, the game wasn't that close.

Last: Def No. 13 Plant (FL) 33-3
Next: 9/14 East St. John (0-1)
7 (7)
Bellevue Logo
Bellevue (2-0) Bellevue, WA

Bellevue took care of business not looking past a good Bothel team. Bellevue might not be challenged until the playoffs.

Last: Def Bothel 35-7
Next: 9/14 @ Sammamish (0-2)
8 (9)
Bishop Gorman Logo
Bishop Gorman (2-0) Las Vegas, NV

Bishop Gorman was idle, but they'll get another stiff challenge from Bergen Catholic who is just outside the FOX Sports Next Top 50.

Last: Idle
Next
: 9/14 vs Bergen Catholic (N.J.) (1-0)
9 (10)
Archbishop Moeller Logo
Archbishop Moeller (3-0) Cincinnati, OH

Last: Def Catholic Central 61-33
Next
: 9/14 @ St. Xavier (KY) (3-1)
10 (11)
Lake Travis Logo
Lake Travis (2-0) Austin, TX

Lake Travis doesn't have the toughest regular season schedule, and predictably the Cavaliers blew out Canyon. Round Rock Westwood should be a better opponent, but that's a relative statement.

Last: Def Canyon 49-7
Next: 9/14 @ Round Rock Westwood (2-0)
11 (12)
De La Salle Logo
De La Salle (2-0) Concord, CA

Mullen had two weeks to prepare for De La Salle, but it's still De La Salle. The visitors from Colorado were no match for the Spartans. This might be the last time we see anyone within 21 points of De La Salle this season.

Last: Def No. 40 Mullen (CO) 30-13
Next: 9/14 St. Mary's (2-1)
12 (14)

Last: Def Northwestern 32-28
Next
: 9/14 Clinton (1-2)
13 (16)

Next: 9/15 @ The Woodlands (1-1)
14 (17)
Vista Murrieta Logo
Vista Murrieta (2-0) Murrieta, CA

South (AK) came to Southern California having outscored its in state opponents 199-9. Vista Murrieta hung 49 on them by halftime. Redlands East Valley will be a much tougher game now that the Broncos have sent South back to the Last Great Frontier.

Next: 9/14 Redlands East Valley (1-1)
15 (18)
St. Ignatius Logo

Next: 9/14 @ Florida State Univ. (2-0)
19 (23)

Next: 9/15 No. 25 Euless Trinity
20 (24)
University School Logo Ft. Lauderdale

Last: Def Archbishop Carroll 69-0
Next: 9/14 @ Cocoa
21 (25)
Mission Viejo Logo
Mission Viejo (3-0) Mission Viejo, CA

Next: 9/14 @ La Quinta (0-3)
22 (27)
Cibolo Steele Football Logo

Next: 9/14 @ Tivy (1-1)
23 (6)
Don Bosco Logo
Don Bosco Prep (0-1) Ramsey, NJ

Gilman had already played two teams in the Top 50 before Don Bosco had even kicked off. It showed. Don Bosco Prep was out of sorts against a good Gilman squad. The Ironmen better get some things figured out against St. Thomas Aquinas, or a new streak will be started on Saturday.

Last: Lost to Gilman 13-6
Next: 9/14 @ St. Thomas Aquinas (FL)(2-0)
24 (50)
Miami Central Logo
Miami Central (1-1) Miami, FL

Round two of the nation's toughest schedule goes to Miami Central. The Rockets open against three Top 10 teams. Central was blown out against Grayson, beat No. 8 Washington, and faces No. 1 Manatee this week. 2-1 against That schedule will put the Rockets in the Top 10.

Last: Def No. 8 Washington 37-26
Next
: 9/14 @ No. 1 Manatee (2-0)
25 (32)
Euless Trinity Logo
Trinity (1-1) Euless, TX

An amazing test of character for the Trojans who lost a heartbreaker to Bellevue in Washington only to turn around and take down Oklahoma's top team. Now another top-matchup with DeSoto looms.

Next: 9/15 vs DeSoto (2-0)

Washington (1-1) Miami, FL

After watching Miami Central get decimated in its first game by Grayson, much to the dismay of the Tornadoes, the most improvement is made from game one to game two. Cedar Hill is capable of beating Washington as well.

Next: 9/14 Seneca Valley (2-0)
36 (42)
Camden County Logo
Camden County (3-0) Kingsland, GA

Camden County is enjoying its stroll through its old stomping grounds, and the Wildcats could probably hang 100 on Beach. Big boy football is looming though as Camden County must travel to Valdosta in two weeks to open up its region play. Region 1-AAAAA is as tough as any in the nation.

Last: Def Johnson 55-0

Next: 9/14 Princeton (0-3)

40 (30)
Union Logo
Union (1-1) Tulsa, OK

Last: Def Midland 63-3
Next
: 9/14 Temple (2-0)
46 (NR)
